AFAB Administrator Mohammed Hussein Pangandaman as he exchanges pleasantries with the stakeholders of the Freeport Area of Bataan.

The Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) Administrator Mohammed Hussein Pangandaman meets Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB) partners and stakeholders for the first time during the special night dubbed as “A Night with the Administrator” held on the 1st day of June 2023 in the AFAB Auditorium, Mariveles, Bataan.

The event was filled with policymakers, enterprise leaders, community representatives, civil societies, and non-government organizations. Bataan Governor Jose Enrique S. Garcia III graced the night with his presence and shared the table with the Administrator together with AFAB Deputy Administrator Ma. Lourdes L. Herrera and former AFAB Administrator Emmanuel D. Pineda. Other important personalities attended including the Pusong Pinoy Party List Representative Jernie Jett Nisay,  Mariveles Mayor Atty. Ace Jello Concepcion, Vice Mayor Lito Rubia together with the Mariveles Local Government Representatives.

In the Administrator’s speech, he expressed his commitment to 2 big areas of effort – the leveling up of the stakeholders’ experience and the alignment of its operations with intensified responsiveness to the R.A. 11453. He extends his deep appreciation and utmost respect to the whole of FAB and therefore acknowledges his new role – to build on what the FAB has achieved in the past decade, aspiring to do better and do more. “AFAB has been doing well contributing to the national coffers and providing jobs and opportunities for growth and it has a team in place that is certainly competent,” he added.

He humbly sought everyone’s support, saying that his aspirations will entail collaboration with all the stakeholders of the FAB. He laid out his course of action in order to foster good working relationships and collaboration – “What I will want [is] to visit you all, to listen, learn, and to work [with you], so that all of us can do better at doing our part to make the FAB an even better Freeport. Doing so will keep improving our work output and will also attract more locators.”

 

The event aims to maintain a prosperous business environment and good governance within the Freeport Area of Bataan.
