Mohammed Hussein P. Pangandaman as he delivers his speech as the new Administrator of the Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan
Freeport Area of Bataan – Mohammed Hussein P. Pagandaman, the newly appointed Administrator of the Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB), was warmly welcomed by the AFAB community by holding an arrival of honors during its flag-raising ceremony held on May 15, 2023, at the AFAB Auditorium.
During the ceremony, Administrator Pangandaman delivered a speech in which he shared a special message from President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. (PBBM), expressing his deep affection for the province of Bataan. He said, “Hussein, Mahal na mahal ko ang lugar na ‘yan. Bata pa lamang ako, pumupunta na ako diyan sa Bataan. I have wonderful memories of that place.” [Hussein, I love that place very much. I used to go there when I was a kid. I have wonderful memories of that place.]

Administrator Pangandaman also expressed his excitement upon stepping foot on the rich Bataan soil, his awe at its beauty, the vitality he felt from Bataeños, and the region’s great potential for development. He humbly acknowledged that he was joining an already accomplished team while committing to building on the success of the agency over the years.
Appointed by PBBM on April 28, 2023, Administrator Mohammed Hussein Pangandaman was included among the 15 appointees bared by the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) on May 7, 2023. Prior to his appointment, Administrator Pangandaman served as a representative of Lanao del Sur.
