The Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) and Empresa Homes Inc. (Empresa) have successfully renewed their partnership through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) committing to the provision of better corporate discounts for housing units offered exclusively for the workers in the Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB).
Said agencies were represented by AFAB Administrator Emmanuel D. Pineda, Empresa Division Head Tessie Lanot, and Head of Market Research Avon Mananquil at the signing ceremony held last 17 January 2023 in the AFAB Administration Building, Mariveles, Bataan.

During the signing, Administrator Pineda highlighted how the AFAB’s prioritization of its constituents’ work-life balance and quality family time is achieved through its valuable partnership with Empresa. He added that the agreement will largely contribute to their common pursuit of promoting home ownership and the provision of affordable housing units for the ever-increasing FAB community.
Ms. Lanot gratefully expressed that the partnership aligns with Empresa’s mission to provide a roof for every Filipino by leveraging every opportunity presented by the continuously evolving market in Bataan. She underlined that Empresa sees good business opportunities and is appreciative of the good partnership AFAB has consistently demonstrated.
The corporate discount has increased to 2.5% from the 1.5% previously agreed upon in the 2018 MOA. This amendment hopes to bridge more gaps and bring the opportunity of home ownership closer to the community.
According to recent data, the number of FAB accounts created with Empresa has already reached 500, 131 of which are discount-applied and approved by Pag-IBIG financing.
AFAB continuously seeks public and private partnerships to address every need of the community it serves, not only through the proven history of the constantly increasing employment opportunities it generates but also through the improved quality of life of its workers.
