Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) Administrator Emmanuel D. Pineda, during the recent groundbreaking ceremony of Dinalupihan Woodlands Economic Zone (DWEZ), stated how the granted powers and functions to the AFAB by Republic Act No. 11453 otherwise known as An Act Further Strengthening the Powers and Functions of the Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) enable it to share significant contributions to the economy and livelihood of the people in the towns of Bataan.

Admin Pineda also personally expressed his recognition and gratitude for the continued cooperation of the Provincial Government of Bataan (PGB) under the leadership of Bataan Governor Albert S. Garcia, Bataan 2nd District Congressman Jose Enrique “Joet” S. Garcia III, and even the local government of Dinalupihan headed by Mayor Angela “Gila” Garcia.

Meanwhile, Dinalupihan Green Residences Incorporated (DGRI) President/CEO Elmer Sy proudly laid out the project vision to turn the 40-hectare land ecozone into an industrial complex. In this regard, it is expected to provide thousands of jobs as well as millions of contributions to the town of Dinalupihan.

DGRI as a registered developer of DWEZ committed to invest Php425.5 million in the FAB.
