AFAB Administrator Pangandaman speaks to clean technology (cleantech) stakeholders - investors, local government units, and transport cooperatives in Bataan.

Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) Administrator Hussein P. Pangandaman welcomed the invitation of the Bataan Provincial Government (PGB) to speak at the Electric Vehicle (E-Vehicle) Forum Roadshow held last 25 May 2023 at the 1Bataan Tourism and Investment Center, Mall of Asia, Pasay Complex.


With the event theme “Accelerating the Transition of Public Transportation to Electric Vehicles in Bataan,” Administrator Pangandaman highlighted the untapped market demand and business incentives that come with investing in E-Vehicles within the Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB). He said that the demand for environmentally friendly and cost-effective forms of transportation in the FAB will certainly increase, especially with its continued expansion and development.

Cristina Garcia, GGGI Country Head Juhern Kim, Bataan PPPIC Department Head Abul Khayr Alonto II, PGENRO OIC Raphael C. De Leon, PCEDO Department Head Azucena Sugatain, and cleantech stakeholders.

The Provincial Government of Bataan Private-Public Partnership and Investment Center (Bataan PPPIC) and the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) led the event immediately followed by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between them.

Under the direction of Administrator Pangandaman, the FAB will certainly be led towards harnessing clean forms of energy generation and creating a promising future of an energy-efficient, eco-friendly, and sustainable Freeport Zone.
