The Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan joined the Embassy of the Republic of Korea to the Philippines in its celebration of Korea’s National Day and Armed Forces Day with a reception at the Shangri-La Hotel, Makati last 02 October 2018.

Joining the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the Philippines, Han Dong-man were AFAB Chairman and Administrator Emmanuel D. Pineda, AFAB Deputy Administrator for Operations Alewijn Aidan K. Ong, and AFAB Corporate Affairs Department Manager Eliza G. Calimag.

Part of the celebration was to commemorate 69 years of the Philippine-Korean diplomatic relations. A friendship that lives on to this day in the form of deeper and more comprehensive cooperation in diverse areas such as trade, political-security concerns, socio-cultural exchanges, and constant growth in the ties between our peoples.

Ambassador Han recently visited the FAB and met with the Dong-In Group of Companies, a group of Korean enterprises which have been locators in the FAB since March 2002.
