

Reaffirming its tradition of celebrating the achievements and contributions of its partnersand stakeholders, the Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) once again hosted itsannual 11th Stakeholder’s Night on 06 August 2024, at the AFAB Administration Building,FAB, Mariveles Bataan.
The event brought together AFAB’s stakeholders from various sectors, all united to celebratetheir collective accomplishments and commitment to the continued success of the FAB.

In his opening remarks, AFAB Administrator and CEO Hussein P. Pangandaman highlightedthe milestones achieved over the past year, reflecting on the progress made since hisassumption of office. He also emphasized the key role played by the FAB enterprises andtheir workforce in driving FAB’s growth.
“With your support, the progress we’ve made is evident, and our data reflects ourachievements. But we are not stopping there, as we continue to develop and fortify theAFAB into a stronger, more capable organization to deliver the goals laid out in our charter,”Administrator and CEO Pangandaman stated.

The AFAB proudly presented a total of 56 awards, recognizing exceptional achievements across various categories:
TOP EXPORTER AWARD | presented in three tiers—Micro and Small, Medium, and Large Enterprises—acknowledged those who excelled in international trade |
TOP EMPLOYER AWARD | also presented in three tiers—Micro and Small, Medium, and Large Enterprises—recognized outstanding practices in employee management |
TOP COMMUNITY BUILDING CHAMPION AWARD | also presented in three tiers—Micro and Small, Medium, and Large Enterprises—highlighted enterprises that made significant contributions to community development |
FABNERSHIP AWARD FOR GOVERNMENT AGENCIES AND NON-GOVERNMENT AGENCIES | granted to both government and non-government agencies, celebrating exemplary collaborations that have driven mutual success |
BEST HR PRACTICES AWARD | given to those demonstrating exceptional standards in human resource management |
EXCELLENCE IN WORKPLACE SAFETY AWARD | given to those demonstrating exceptional standards in workplace safety |
INDUSTRIAL PEACE AWARD | acknowledged those who put in efforts to maintain harmony and peace within the industrial sector |
LOYALTY AWARD | given to individuals with long-standing service in the FAB, acknowledging their dedication and commitment |

LEADERSHIP AWARD | honored leaders who have demonstrated remarkable vision and guidance in their fields/workplace |
OVERALL BEST FAB ENTERPRISE AWARD | awarded to enterprises that have demonstrated exemplary performance across multiple categories, setting standards for excellence |


Beyond celebrating individual accomplishments, the event provided an opportunity to reflect on how both personal and organizational successes collectively impact the FAB.
Following the awards ceremony, AFAB OAD Group Head Atty. Percival B. Peralta delivered a special message, emphasizing the role and responsibility of enterprises in maintaining harmony within the Freeport, underscoring the importance of collaboration and mutual respect in sustaining a thriving business environment.


The event concluded with AFAB Deputy Administrator for Support Services Ma. Lourdes L. Herrera’s remarks, which reflected on the evening’s celebrations as well as the community’s collective commitment to shared goals.
The 11th Stakeholder’s Night was a success, leaving a sense of pride and inspiration among attendees. Looking ahead, the AFAB is set for another year of progress and collaboration, aiming to strengthen its role as a catalyst for economic and social advancement, fueled by the unwavering support of its stakeholders.
