RCMB-III Conducts Seminar On Enhancing Workplace Relations
The Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB), through the spearheading of the AFAB Community Services Department (CSD) – Labor Center hosted a capacity building seminar-workshop facilitated by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Regional Conciliation and Mediation Branch III (RCMB) at the Audio Visual Room of the AFAB Administration Building, FAB, Mariveles, Bataan last 13 March 2019.
Entitled “Back to Basics: Pro-active Programs to Enhance Workplace Relations”, the seminar-workshop aims to advocate DOLE programs that promote the provision and implementation of measures and interventions that develop harmonious and cooperative worker-employer relations, workers’ empowerment, sound labor-management relations and labor education.
The seminar-workshop was facilitated by RCMB III Director Edgar G. Aquino, RCMB III Supervising Labor and Employment Officer Rosanna C. Cruz, and Conciliator-Mediator Othello B. Tongio, Jr..
The RCMB III offers area-wide seminars and training on labor education to encourage organized and unorganized companies to look into the benefits of having a Labor Management Convergence (LMC) Program and Grievance Machinery (GM) in their respective workplaces.
One hundred nine (109) labor and management representatives from FAB registered enterprises attended the seminar and committed for the establishment of LMC and GM in their workplaces.
