AFAB’s delegation, led by AFAB Chairperson Michael Dennis M. Ballesteros, Director Aurelio C. Angeles, Jr., and Deputy Administrator for Support Services Malou L. Herrera, engaged with industry leaders, policymakers, and global investors to explore new opportunities and magnify the FAB’s role in the region’s economic growth. The two-day event highlighted the significant role of Special Economic Zones (SEZs) in advancing ASEAN economic integration. The forum served as a timely platform for AFAB to share its development priorities, enabling policies, and investment incentives. As the Philippines’ fastest-growing Freeport - and the only one with a legal mandate to develop new and emerging sectors, including financial technology and blockchain, the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, and green industries - AFAB is committed to building on its vision of FAB as an investment hub while pushing forward economic integration with the ASEAN community. #INVESTintheFAB #WEareAFAB
