Desk Top Bags Philippines Inc. was given the distinction of being the Top Employer of the Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB) for 2017 during the Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) 5th Annual FAB Stakeholders’ Night held last 29 May 2018 at the Bataan Convention Center, FAB, Mariveles, Bataan.

The FAB Top Employer Award is given to outstanding FAB Registered Enterprises that have provided gainful employment and at the same time promoted and supported the AFAB’s policies on regularization, industrial peace, harmony and productivity.

All FAB Registered Enterprises with at least 300 workers for the particular year is eligible for the Top FAB Employer Award. The selection and assessment of the awardees are based on the following criteria: (1) Job Generation, (2) Labor Compliance, (3) Employees Welfare Programs, (4) Retention Practices, and (5) Corporate Social Responsibility.

For 2017, Desk Top Bags Philippines Inc., top scored with 81 points, en route to being named as the overall Top FAB Employer. FPF Corporation got 2nd place with 75 points, with FCF Manufacturing Corporation rounding out the top three with 72 points.

AFAB
