The Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB), represented by Administrator Emmanuel D. Pineda, Deputy Administrator for Operations Alewijn Aidan K. Ong, and Corporate Affairs Technical Officer Paul Robert A. Salapantan, warmly welcomed the Australian Ambassador to the Philippines Steven J. Robinson AO at the AFAB Administration Building, FAB, Mariveles, Bataan on 14 December 2021.
In a meeting, Ambassador Robinson was delighted to learn about the various enterprises in the Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB) and acknowledged the Authority’s ongoing and future infrastructure development programs. Also discussed were investment opportunities for Australian companies in the Philippines primarily in the energy, digitalization, and cybersecurity industries.
Joining Ambassador Robinson were representatives of the Australian Embassy namely Counselor James Yeomans, Senior Trade and Investment Commissioner Christopher Lim, and Admin Support and Visits Officer Vida D’Marie Inting.
The Ambassador also visited Dunlop International (Philippines), Inc. (DIPI), a FAB-registered enterprise engaged in the business of manufacturing premium tennis balls for the international market.
