The Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan has again exuded its brand of consistency after having been recertified for ISO 9001:2015 Certification of Management Systems valid for three years last 09 March 2023. 

Achieving ISO 9001:2015 certification means that the Authority’s management systems are at par with the global standard, which consequently ensures quality service to its customers and meets regulatory expectations.

To wit, the TÜV Rheinland Philippines, Inc. revealed the following nonconformities as indicated in the ISO 9001:2015/Rectification Audit – Initial Audit Report.

The organization has established and maintains an effective system to ensure compliance with its policy and objectives. The recertification audit was conducted by TÜV Rheinland, a leading provider of technical services worldwide which uses new ideas, expertise, and a strong global network to contribute to the further development of products, services, systems, and people and make them more competitive. After the conduct of rigorous audits in all of AFAB’s management departments, no non-conformities were cited.
