A total of 55 FAB workers actively participated in the capacity-building activity conducted by the Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) and TESDA Regional Training Center – Mariveles (RTC) held last 28 March 2023 in the AFAB Sports Complex, Mariveles, Bataan.

Said activity aims to provide access to quality training and workshop for the affected workers subject to forced leave of FCF and FPF, who wish to enhance and learn new skills for employment opportunities. In this capacity-building activity, the participants learned basic Reflexology targeting the hands and feet through a dry massage.

The event entitled “Community-Based Training: Hand & Foot Massage, Chair/Dry Massage” is only one of the numerous community-based programs of the agency in order to extend continuous support to the capacity-building of FAB workers. Such activities are held successfully through the spearheading of the AFAB Community Services Department (CSD) – Labor Center.

The AFAB is fully supportive of such activities since the agency acknowledges them as the most important investment to achieve a thriving FAB community.
