The FAB Fair 2023 entrance arc sprinkled with colors during the grand opening ceremony, signifying the start of the fair’s non-stop and fun-filled celebrations.

In a display of unity and excitement, the Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) officially inaugurated its annual FAB Fair on November 8, 2023, kicking off a two-month-long series of festivities under the theme, “Where Happiness, Passion, and Play Unite”.

The event was made special by the presence and unwavering support of the AFAB management team and employees, under the leadership of Administrator Mohammed Hussein P. Pangandaman. The program commenced with a vibrant parade and was followed by a formal ribbon-cutting ceremony. Among the attendees were Eduardo Custodio, Jr., the President of FABILA, and representatives from the Municipality of Mariveles, led by Mayor Ace Jello Concepcion.

During his message, Administrator Pangandaman shared his appreciation and excitement about the fair, highlighting its significance in celebrating the rich culture of the FAB and the sense of community he aims to extend not only within Bataan but also with neighboring provinces.

The program continued with the much-anticipated street dance competition, where select schools from Mariveles showcased their talents and creativity. Audiences were treated to an incredible display of artistry, rhythm, and synchronized moves as the students brought the streets to life with their energetic performances.

Scheduled to run until December 23, 2023, the FAB Fair 2023 provides a platform for businesses, including FAB-registered enterprises, to showcase and market their products to the public. This year’s fair, however, goes beyond that traditional role, with a variety of events lined up to ensure a memorable experience for FAB employees, Bataan residents, tourists, and guests.
