The participation of the Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) proved to be productive during the conduct of the Department of Information and Communications Technology’s (DICT) extensive consultation on the development of the National Cybersecurity Plan (NCSP) 2028 last 01 March 2023.
The aforementioned plan shall include programs and strategies that will serve as a national roadmap for achieving cybersecurity and resiliency for the entire country. In the consultation, the AFAB was able to present a brief overview reflecting its status and needs concerning the protection and privacy of the data the AFAB collects, uses, and manages.

This activity demonstrates the Agency’s commitment to competency and preparedness against cybersecurity threats through the continued support and collaboration with the DICT and other concerned agencies.
