(“Thanks to Sec. Bebot and DOLE… aside from the bancas that we will receive, we will also create new local employment because the people of Bataan will build [the] boats.”)
Relatedly, AFAB awarded a plaque of recognition to Sec. Bello for his effective leadership, continued support, and excellent contribution to promoting the welfare of the workers in the Freeport.
The DOLE Secretary commended the AFAB for its achievements in promoting industrial peace in the Freeport. Sec. Bello said, “Because of [the] AFAB, the major accomplishment of our President in the field of labor and employment is industrial peace.”
Meanwhile, Administrator Pineda shared how its locators played a major role in making the FAB the only economic zone in the country to have positive investment inflows in the first quarter of the year despite the challenges brough by COVID-19.
“With the hard work and commitment from all the FAB Enterprises, the FAB is the only economic zone in the country that still managed to post positive foreign direct investment inflows in the first quarter of this year.”
